The Opportunity
We are looking for a Surveying Technician to join our client's team in Sydney. Our client is a land surveying firm with projects throughout the Sydney metro area. This role comes with complete training and mentorship. You will work alongside an experienced team and assist a senior team member. You will gain experience in assisting in multiple types of land surveying, such as feature surveys and topographic surveys and assist with boundary surveys, to name a few.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Help surveyors with fieldwork, boundary, detail, and set-out surveys.
• Operate and maintain surveying tools such as drones, GNSS, scanners, and Total Stations. Accurately gather, handle, and process survey data.
• Create and revise survey reports and strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project deadlines, safety regulations, and company standards.

What you need to be a successful candidate

• Residing in Sydney or willing to relocate 
• Full Working rights – Sponsorship is not available for this role. 
• A relevant degree in civil engineering, surveying, or the spatial sciences, or the pursuit of one.
• Although it is not required, prior land surveying experience is preferable; training will be given.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail abilities.
• A valid driver's licence.
