Responsibilities - Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support municipal infrastructure designs.
- Develop preliminary and detailed designs for new and rehabilitated stormwater management facilities.
- Create stormwater Master Plans for large and small watersheds.
- Prepare contract specifications, tender documents, and applications for regulatory approvals.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate their contributions to projects.
- Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and construction supervision teams.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals for future projects.
Qualifications - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
- 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting engineering.
- Proficiency with software such as HEC-2, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in planning, design, and construction administration for stormwater infrastructure.
- Proven ability to obtain infrastructure design approvals from regulatory and environmental agencies.
- Skilled in cost estimation and specification writing.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and projects effectively.
