Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support municipal infrastructure designs.
• Develop preliminary and detailed designs for new and rehabilitated stormwater management facilities.
• Create stormwater Master Plans for large and small watersheds.
• Prepare contract specifications, tender documents, and applications for regulatory approvals.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate their contributions to projects.
• Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and construction supervision teams.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals for future projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
• 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting engineering.
• Proficiency with software such as HEC-2, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience in planning, design, and construction administration for stormwater infrastructure.
• Proven ability to obtain infrastructure design approvals from regulatory and environmental agencies.
• Skilled in cost estimation and specification writing.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and projects effectively.
