They're seeking a proactive and organized
Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction management and eager to contribute to a wide variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and additions.
- Help create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Review project drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Manage and track project changes, including change orders and budget adjustments.
- Assist in preparing and presenting project status reports to stakeholders.
- Support the procurement process, including obtaining quotes, reviewing bids, and negotiating contracts.
- Address and resolve day-to-day project issues and escalate significant concerns to the Project Manager as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of experience in construction, with exposure to residential and commercial projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and basic project scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.
