**Who You Are… You are a seasoned Assistant Site Superintendent, with recent and substantial experience in commercial and/or institutional projects, demonstrating unwavering dedication to job site safety, project excellence, and collaborative teamwork.

As an Assistant Superintendent, your role will involve:
  • Vigilantly ensuring the safety of construction site personnel.
  • Diligently upholding established site processes, maintaining project quality standards, and striving for on-time project completion.
  • Effectively managing field activities to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Providing expert guidance and overseeing field operations with precision.
Your Key Responsibilities encompass:
• Daily oversight and coordination of subcontractors and contractors.
• Comprehensive review of drawings and submittals.
• Conducting meticulous site inspections to optimize project execution, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Maintaining Daily Logs and delivering daily reports to the Site Superintendent.
• Vigilantly tracking site progress and proactively initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Inspiring all field teams, including subcontractors, to complete work safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborating with the Project Team on closeout documents, including manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
• Actively participating in site meetings and offering valuable insights to subcontractors and contractors.
• Resolving site issues and conflicts with professionalism.
• Cultivating strong working relationships with the project team, client, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.

Your Experience and Qualifications should include:
  • A minimum of 3 years of construction experience with a Construction Manager or General Contractor.
  • Proven recent experience in commercial/institutional development.
  • Exceptional ability to interpret construction documents, including contracts and schedules.
  • Unwavering commitment to job site safety and project excellence.
  • Proficiency in building trust and leading subcontractors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
  • Strong familiarity with the Lower Mainland and BC construction industry.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in various computer skills and software applications.
