Job Description:

As an Associate Architect, you will take on a leadership role in managing architectural projects from design through to construction. You will oversee project teams, working directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative designs. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and execution of architectural projects from initial concept to completion.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring that all aspects of design, documentation, and construction are aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their vision, provide expert design solutions, and ensure project success.
• Prepare and review architectural plans, construction documents, and specifications, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines.
• Supervise the work of junior architects and support their professional growth.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design technologies, and integrate sustainability and innovation into design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of professional experience in architecture, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior staff while managing client relationships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is a plus
