Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project deadlines and financial targets.
- Supervise and support site managers, project engineers, and field staff.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Prepare and present operational reports, progress updates, and financial summaries to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and personnel in civil projects.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
