Job Title: Civil Project Manager Location: Fraser Valley (80% site-based) Salary: $120,000 per annum Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee road and highway projects in the Fraser Valley area. This role requires a driven individual with a strong background in civil infrastructure, particularly in road and highway construction, who can manage all aspects of project delivery from inception through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing budgets and timelines, ensuring safety standards, and liaising with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of road/highway project, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with field teams and oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and work closely with finance teams to maintain cost-effective practices.
Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates on project progress and resolve any issues.
Conduct site inspections to assess progress and address any potential issues proactively.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience within civil construction, specifically on roads/highways. (advantage)
Proven success in managing project teams and complex site-based projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management software, and scheduling tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to project sites in Fraser Valley..
