Heavy Civil Project Manager - Kingston, Ontario

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee sewer and water, capital infrastructure, demolition, and earthworks projects in Kingston, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction and proven leadership skills, including managing a team of coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee a team of project coordinators, subcontractors, and site crews, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including clients, consultants, and municipal agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Track progress, manage risks, and prepare project reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years managing heavy civil projects (sewer/water, earthworks, demolition).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in project management software.
• PMP or Gold Seal Certification (preferred).
• A background in estimation would be considered a strong asset
