About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager with a strong background in water treatment plant projects.
 
The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil construction and project execution. This role requires excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water treatment plant projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure projects, water treatment processes, and related regulations.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software 
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with public sector contracts and government projects an advantage
  • Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal water treatment regulations and advantage.
