Development Coordinator - Real Estate

Position Overview:
As a Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's development team throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. From initial feasibility studies to project completion, you will assist in coordinating various aspects of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and financial analyses for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to facilitate the design and development process.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and entitlements from relevant authorities and agencies.
- Handling project documentation, including contracts, budgets, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, and presentations with project team members, investors, and community stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the procurement process by obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including zoning regulations, entitlements, and construction management.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of sustainable development practices and LEED certification is a plus.
