Job Description

Our client is a Saudi Arabia based Development Consultancy based in Riyadh who are looking to add a Development Manager to their growing team. The business are primarily working with leading KSA Investment companies developing properties across residential, commercial and retail sectors.

The Development Manager will be responsible for leading major projects working with all internal teams, owners, stakeholders, overseeing schedules, budgets, designs, approvals, development, construction and closeout including post construction handover. The successful applicant will have proven Middle East experience with all above tasks working with a leading Real Estate Developer or Consultancy in the KSA or UAE. 

Responsibilities:
- Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders and owners setting out initial goals to meet all of their requirements and vision for each assigned project building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Project/Development Management: Oversee all aspects of the development process, including planning, feasibility studies, design, budgets, approvals, construction, and completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential development opportunities and determine the feasibility of proposed projects. Stay up-to-date on market trends.
- Team Management: Lead a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance and support as required to team members and encourage a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Budget and Financial Management: Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as investors, and community members, to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet high-quality standards and comply with local regulations and building codes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively and in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate or similar related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on residential, commercial, hospitality and retail projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or UAE.
- Strong understanding of the local real estate market and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering real estate projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent development and project management, leadership, and team management skills.
- Strong financial and budget management background in leading full-cycle real estate development projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with dedicated background in building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
