About the client: My client is a leader in demolition and deconstruction services, specializing in complex and large-scale projects across various sectors. they are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team and support project documentation processes.
About the role: The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation associated with demolition activities. This includes ensuring accurate records, maintaining version control, and facilitating efficient communication between site teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities: - Manage and control all project documentation, including plans, permits, health and safety documents, and method statements, related to demolition activities.
- Ensure document accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements and industry regulations.
- Maintain version control and track all revisions, ensuring that only the most current documents are in circulation.
- Coordinate the distribution of documents to project teams and stakeholders as needed.
- Create, manage, and archive electronic and physical project files for easy retrieval and regulatory compliance.
- Support project managers and site staff in preparing and organizing documents for audits and client reviews.
- Implement and maintain document management systems and processes to ensure efficient workflow.
About the requirements: - Proficiency with document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or other relevant tools).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demolition experience desirable but not essential
