Our client is looking for an Electrical Estimator with at least 3 years of experience to manage and develop accurate estimates for electrical residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Accubid and PlanSwift software and a proven track record in delivering precise cost estimates that drive project success. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Utilize Accubid and PlanSwift software to generate precise and comprehensive take-offs and estimates.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify scope, requirements, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather and verify project information and clarify any uncertainties.
- Analyze historical data and benchmark estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and justifications.
- Monitor project changes and assess their impact on the cost estimates and overall project budget.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in estimates.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or electrical industry.
- Proficiency in Accubid and PlanSwift software for estimating and take-offs.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate estimation and cost analysis.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
