Fit-Out Project Manager - South East Melbourne
We are seeking a Fit-Out Project Manager with experience in commercial and retail project management to join an organisation with a strong reputation in their field, which has attracted high-profile clients. The organisation has been operating for nearly 40 years!

  What will I be doing exactly?

• Management of various projects from pre-construction to handover and defect liability.
• Execution of projects in compliance with building specifications and standards.
• Conducting tender interviews and awarding contracts, including negotiations with subcontractors.
• Financial oversight and accountability for the projects.
• Development of comprehensive project schedules.
• Maintenance of client relationships.

  Am I the right person? Should I apply?

• Experience in managing commercial or retail fit-out projects, or a relevant background in building/trade.
• Background working for a principal contractor in a project management capacity.
• Strong financial insight and excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of project management within the construction sector (experience in fit-outs and refurbishments would be advantageous).
• Familiarity with specifications and drawings for precision and feasibility.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
