My client  are a dynamic and fast-growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor, delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundwork solutions to some of the UK’s leading house builders. With a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation, we’re looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial delivery of residential development projects across the Yorkshire region.

Role Overview:
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers to assist in the commercial management of various groundworks and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop a successful career in construction and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of costings for tenders and contracts
• Support in the measurement and valuation of works (on-site and from drawings)
• Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor and report on project costs and cash flow
• Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to track progress and variations
• Attend project meetings and site visits as required
• Maintain accurate records and document control
• Support procurement and contract administration activities
