Job Purpose Statement
You will work closely with the Site Engineer to learn all aspects of setting out as well as construction methodologies and sequencing. You must be enthusiastic about construction and keen to learn the technical skills required to become a Site Engineer. You will assist the Site Manager / Project Manager in delivering HSEQ requirements for the project and logistics as required.
  
Key Accountabilities
  
  • To develop an understanding of engineering and setting out principles
  • To assist Site Engineer in carrying out their duties
  • To set out works accurately
  • To develop an understanding of construction sequences and methodologies
  • To develop an understanding of the company HSEQ systems
  • To keep accurate site records (photos, diary etc.)
  • To measure and take of materials and monitor stock
  
Knowledge / Technical:
  • SSSTS
  • CSCS
  • Asbestos awareness
  • AutoCAD
    
Behavioural Skills:
  • Willingness to learn and absorb information
  • Working as ‘one team’ across multiple functions to deliver exceptional results for our clients
  • Good communication skills
  
Previous Experience: Sufficient educational experience
