Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Layout Specialist to lead and oversee layout activities on concrete towers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of layout work, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining high standards in all layout and surveying tasks. This role requires an expert in blueprint interpretation, site preparation, and layout methodologies, with the ability to troubleshoot and make real-time adjustments on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all layout operations, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Interpret project blueprints, survey plans, and architectural drawings to guide layout activities accurately.
  • Conduct detailed site inspections and surveys to confirm accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to align layout plans and address any discrepancies.
  • Oversee the setup and calibration of layout tools and surveying equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Maintain clear documentation of all layout processes, measurements, and any adjustments.
  • Train and mentor junior layout team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
  • Identify and solve on-site layout issues, providing quick and efficient solutions to prevent project delays.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete layout, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in layout and surveying techniques for large-scale projects, preferably in concrete towers.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, CAD files, and survey plans accurately.
  • Proficiency in using layout and surveying tools, including total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make real-time decisions to keep projects on track.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other relevant software.
