SSA are recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E Contractor who are seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their team working on a Landmark Project in Co. Louth. This is a permanent role within the company.

My client are a respected M&E Contractor, who has a vast array of both ongoing work and upcoming projects throughout Ireland and across Mainland Europe.

About the role:

• Co Louth based
• Site - based role
• Gain experience working on a Landmark Project.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Implementation of the site Health and Safety Induction Training programme.
• Ensure that a strong, pro-active health & safety culture is adhered to on site.
• Reviews of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Conduct regular site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health and safety.
• Assist in developing health & safety strategies, programs and plans.
• Active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.
• Co-ordinate the development and implementation of health and safety programmes and initiatives designed to continually improve performance consistently.

To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following;

• Minimum 1 + Years'  Health & Safety Experience with a Main Contractor or M&E Contractor.
• M&E Experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
