Responsibilities: - Site Leadership: Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise field crews and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Safety First: Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and company protocols, conducting regular inspections and promoting a safety-focused mindset.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, inspectors, and other project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing concerns.
- Resource Management: Coordinate equipment, labor, and materials to optimize site productivity and minimize delays.
- Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate potential issues or challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction, including significant experience in earthworks and underground utilities.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
