HSEQ Coordinator | Sydney | Multi Site role

SSA Group is looking to speak with a HSEQ Coordinator for a multi-site role with one of Australia's most renowned main contractors. This is a fully autonomous role, and the candidate must be able to organise their own calendars and day-to-day duties.

- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement HSEQ plans, procedures, and risk assessments across multiple sites.
- Lead incident investigations, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to site teams on HSEQ practices and regulations.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, ensuring timely submission of reports to management.
- Foster a positive safety culture and environmental awareness across all projects.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators and clients, to ensure HSEQ requirements are met.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving health, safety, environmental, and quality processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSEQ role within the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation and standards.
- Experience managing HSEQ across multiple construction sites.
- Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with teams across all levels.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Quality (e.g., Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent)
