SSA Group has partnered with a leading Australian national construction, manufacturing & transport business. We are looking to speak with a HSEQ officer to join their team. Our client is a leading provider of modular construction faculty's and services throughout Australia.
Duties and responsibilities:
Transfer HSEQ knowledge and principles to frontline manufacturing and construction resources.
Provide direct technical responses and support for issues during manufacturing, site work, and projects.
Provide knowledge and advice in technical risk management primarily related to building and construction risks.
Provide quality and compliance checks and audits in accordance with HSEQ frameworks and Builders Licencing obligations.
To support the HSEQ team in developing modern, compliant, and best practice models for systems and procedures.
To use available information and data to review, report, and propose improvements.
Complete all internal HSEQ administration tasks in accordance with HSEQ processes.
Complete assigned reporting and administration tasks for other areas, including HSEQ performance reports, project management plans, SWMS, injury management, and workers compensation.
Follow document control procedures and support project reporting requirements when assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
Experience in building and construction aligns with WHS and risk management.
Current Driver’s Licence, Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Certificate IV Building and Construction or Trade Certificate, Qld Site Supervisors Licence, Certificate IV Training and Assessment, ISO Internal Auditor, ICAM, RTW Coordinator.
Licences: Forklift HRWL, Working at Heights, First Aid, Dogman, and Rigging.
Experience in HSEQ systems, software, transport, or manufacturing will be beneficial.
