Key Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Civil Engineer, you will:
  • Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and land development.
  • Prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct and oversee site investigations, surveys, and construction inspections.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements and approvals are met.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia or eligibility to register.
  • 5-8 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in infrastructure design, grading, stormwater management, and roadways.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • A solid understanding of British Columbia design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
