Junior MEP Revit/CAD Technician - London

SSA are currently working with a leading M&E company to find a Junior MEP Revit/BIM Technician. The role is located in Central London and will require the candidate to be capable of travelling here every day initially working on a specific project developing Stage 4C/5 Drawings.

Day to day tasks for the candidate will consist of:

• Assist in creating and modifying Revit MEP models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Work closely with engineers and senior technicians to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
• Ensure models and drawings adhere to company and industry standards.
• Assist with clash detection, coordination, and integration of MEP services within multidisciplinary projects.
• Maintain and update project documentation in compliance with BIM protocols.
• Support the implementation of BIM workflows and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic Revit-related issues.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient design coordination.

Ideal candidate:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Software Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (AutoCAD and Navisworks experience is a plus).
• Understanding of MEP systems and willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Salary Circa £25k -£35k DOE
