Junior/Intermediate Design Engineer/Technologist
Join a leading Canadian-owned engineering consulting firm, known for its cutting-edge design and construction services in land development and stormwater management. We’re looking for a motivated Junior/Intermediate Design Engineer or Technologist to support site plan and subdivision projects, working on both preliminary and detailed grading and servicing designs. This role reports directly to the Project Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop Functional Servicing Plans and Reports.
- Design grading and servicing plans for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare and coordinate engineering submissions.
- Produce both preliminary and detailed design drawings.
- Contribute to the success of a variety of public and private sector projects.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Working towards or have registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in Ontario is an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in drafting and design for municipal projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and within a team.
