SSA are looking for a Lead Architect to lead the Building Design team of a leading Design Consultancy in Galway.

Our client works across a number of sectors including Residential, Commercial and Healthcare.

Job Description:

• Lead Architect to lead the Architectural wing of a leading Design Consultancy reporting directly to and working in conjunction with the Managing Director.
• The role will combine nationwide design opportunities, with an opportunity to organically grow and lead an Architectural section
• The role will combine both Design/Architectural duties along with a business development role for the Architectural wing of the company.
• Overseeing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
• Leading the design process, creating architectural plans, and developing detailed specifications.
• Supervising and mentoring architects and design team, coordinating their efforts to maintain project timelines.
• Engaging with clients to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and incorporating feedback.

Job Requirements:

• Strong Architectural design proficiency and experience
• Experience in residential, healthcare and educational sectors.
• Part 3 Registered Architect
• Strong communications skills
• Self-motivated, with excellent team collaboration skills
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency & experience necessary
• 3D and BIM design proficiency
• Ideally > 6+ years experience
