Job Description

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

•    Identify labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other associated costs.
•    Study proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
•    Manage the tender closings by preparing all documents, conducting a final review with the department manager, and submitting all pricing.
•    Maintain cost database.
•    Identify opportunities for value engineering.
•    Conduct take-off meetings.
•    Investigate and quote special projects.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors is essential to ensure competitive pricing, quality materials, and timely delivery of services.
  
Qualifications and Experience:

•    College or University Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, Technical College diploma, or equivalent combination of technical training and/ or related experience.
•    10+ years of relevant experience in ICI retrofit estimating is preferred. 
•    Red Seal certification would be an asset

Tools and Technology used in this occupation:

•    Mobile and laptop/desktop computer
•    MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS CRM)
•    Experience working with Trimble
•    Experience with Procore would be an asset
