Mechanical Engineer

SSA are working with a leading MEP Contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a Data Centre project based in Denmark.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection etc.) based on the project requirements, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations.
- Involvement in all aspects of the preconstruction stage to include health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions and the management of the projects commissioning phase.
- Ensure that mechanical installations are completed to the required quality standards, conduct site inspections, review work progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the design review, validation and management of the design development.
- Working closely with all project teams to ensure the schedule is being followed and excellent service delivery.
- Manage the procurement process for each mechanical package.
- Manage the complete interface for our contractors in relation to their specialist packages.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
- Demonstrated capability in construction delivery.
- IT proficient, including CAD & MS Office.
- Exceptional time management skills, for both prioritising workload and meeting strict deadlines.
- QHSE knowledge.
