Procurement Manager

Our client is a Saudi Arabia based Real Estate Development Company based in Riyadh who are looking to add a Procurement Manager to their growing team. The business are primarily working with leading KSA Investment companies developing properties across residential, hospitality, commercial and retail sectors.

The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, analytical thinker and prosper in high-pressure situations when schedules are tight in sourcing materials. Prior leadership experience within the procurement department is essential with project experience valued more than SAR 500m.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with senior department leaders in implementing strategies and improving SOP's for procurement team.
  • Identify areas of improvement while continuing to evolve relationships and build new contacts for the business ensuring we are achieving company goals on spending.
  • Negotiate contracts with current and incoming new vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly, working with project managers and other departments ensuring products and materials are available in a timely manner for all assigned projects and internal requirements.
  • Provide mentorship, training and support as required to procurement team in keeping all staff up to speed with company expectations.
  • Devise quarterly and annual reports for senior executives identifying internal success and potential areas for improvement.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 7/8 years in a Procurement Management role with a growing or large-scale developer or PMC with growing responsibilities (KSA/UAE Experience)
  • 10+ years of Procurement experience in construction/real estate.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations within the construction sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office and strong knowledge of construction cloud based software.
  • Must hold a Transferable Iqama, preference for candidates who are immediately available.
