Title: Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Coordinator well-versed in various construction methodologies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating a multidisciplinary team to optimize project outcomes. With strong analytical skills and impeccable organizational abilities, the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of administrative support documentation, methodologies, and reports, all while adhering to budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Field Superintendent, internal Project Managers, and field supervisors to define project specifications.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the unique characteristics and methodologies of each project to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Prepare comprehensive timecard reports, daily field information, and regular summaries to track project progress.
- Assist in determining equipment and material requirements for each project, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and project timelines.
- Support the planning of construction operations, scheduling intermediate phases to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Maintain and update project schedules, record meeting minutes, and actively participate in Operational Meetings.
- Manage requests for project-specific change orders and scope changes efficiently.
- Evaluate project progress meticulously and generate detailed progress reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards, promptly reporting any concerns or issues.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding daily job progress.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a project coordinator in heavy-civil and deep utilities-related projects.
- Thorough understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project coordination principles.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Project, Heavy Job, with training provided for other Earthmoving software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Availability to visit multiple work sites with reliable transportation.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be advantageous.
- Post-secondary certificate in Engineering (CET) preferred.
