Project Manager

Primary Function:
The Project Manager is empowered with decision making responsibility for all aspects of the project. They are accountable to Senior Management for the following; project performance, including costs, quality, project status, schedule and adherence to company policy and programs, ensure project profitability, schedule adherence, safety and customer satisfaction, provides leadership and mentorship to other members of the project team, creates relationships with all project stakeholders to further business development.
Key responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling
• Strong knowledge and understanding of prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Proactively stay on top of paperwork, ensuring smooth administration and coordination.
• Ability to analyze and understand project goals while prioritizing work keeping the big picture in mind.
• Manage budgets, estimates, billings to review and analyze costs and identify revenue opportunities.
• Ensure that all expenditures are in line with the budgets and estimates.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly overall project performance to Senior Management.

  
Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience. Low-rise experience is essential.
• Gold Seal Certification – or working towards completing.
• University Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture
• Experience leading a project and the ability to provide coaching/mentoring to team members.
• Ability to enforce Health & Safety practices.
• Must be able to be held accountable and hold other teams accountable.
