Job Advertisement: Project Manager – Construction Projects We are currently seeking an experienced
Project Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable construction company delivering residential and commercial developments. The company has a diverse portfolio, including townhouse complexes, apartment buildings childcare centres, and multi-use complexes. The current project underway is valued at approximately £40 million.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Management: Oversee and manage all phases of the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of site managers, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Scheduling & Reporting: Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, reporting regularly on progress, risks, and issues.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control, procurement, and resource allocation are effectively monitored.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and resolve any issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with legal, safety, and quality standards, while managing risk mitigation strategies.
Essential Requirements: - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project management, particularly in residential and multi-use developments.
- Proven experience in managing complex, high-value projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
