About the Opportunity:

Our client is a respected and long-standing civil construction company known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Western Canada. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join their growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging civil construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in both the estimating and project execution phases, ensuring smooth delivery from tender to close-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage civil construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
  • Conduct site visits and review project plans, specifications, and conditions to support accurate estimating
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables
  • Monitor and manage project schedules, resources, and reporting requirements
  • Identify and manage project risks, changes, and opportunities
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to business development initiatives with technical insight and pricing strategies
What We're Looking For:
  • 10+ years of experience in civil construction project management and estimating
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in estimating and project management software, along with MS Office tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
  • A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
  • PMP certification or similar credentials are considered an asset
