SSA Group are working on behalf of a leading Construction Group, who are seeking a Project Sustainability Coordinator to join their team on a major city centre development in Dublin.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Prepare and implement project Sustainability Plan
- Ensure project sustainability targets are fulfilled
- Attend sustainability meetings with sustainability consultant and provide updates on company credits/information
- Create site specific LEED/WELL/BREEAM management plans (EG Construction Waste Management Plan , Indoor Air Quality Plan)
- Ensure material client specifications for LEED, WELL and Embodied Carbon are met, such as VOC certification, FSC timber, low emitting materials etc
- Involved in technical submittal process to check LEED/WELL/Embodied Carbon information is as per client requirements
- Monitor measure, and record information required for tracking progress of these reports. Issue these to sustainability consultant on a regular basis
- Provide regular updates to the contracts manager on progress of sustainability project targets
- Liaise with project team on all sustainability aspects of the project
- Liaise with sub-contractors for any LEED/WELL/ILFI related items required to achieve project targets
- Record and issue monthly energy readings for water, fuel and electricity
- Provide sustainability training/awareness for project team and sub-contractors when required
To be successful in your application, you will possess the following: - Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in related role.
- Experience working in the construction industry, either in a sustainability role or other, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to embrace sustainability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in sustainability practices.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and the ability to foster a culture of respect and collaboration among employees.
