As a Senior Architect, you will lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet both aesthetic and functional goals. Your expertise will guide junior staff, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and institutional.
- Develop design concepts, create detailed architectural plans, and prepare technical documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and needs, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to budgets, timelines, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the work of junior architects, providing mentorship and direction to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, public hearings, and project presentations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure innovative and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing project teams and working with clients to deliver high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design is a plus.
