Senior Design Engineer – Land Development

As a key player in their Design Department, you’ll lead subdivision and site plan projects, deliver exceptional engineering solutions, and mentor the next generation of talent. Your creativity and expertise will help turn visions into reality, from grading plans to sustainable servicing designs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead High-Impact Projects: Drive the development of Functional Servicing Plans and Reports, guiding each project from concept through completion.
• Design with Purpose: Prepare cutting-edge preliminary and detailed engineering designs that set the stage for successful site plan and subdivision developments.
• Be the Client’s Go-To Expert: Work closely with clients and approval agencies, ensuring that designs meet both regulatory standards and client expectations.
• Shape the Future: Mentor and train junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping them grow into future leaders in the industry.

What You Bring:

• A University Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering. P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation in Ontario is a great asset.
• 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer, ideally working on subdivisions, site plans, stormwater management, and environmental servicing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is essential to your success in delivering high-quality designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with a knack for leading and inspiring teams.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results—whether independently or as part of a team.
