Job Description

SSA are working with Ireland's leading Contractors seeking Senior Electrical Planners for roles based around Dublin.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
· Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral)
· Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP
· Reporting to Planning Department and Business Unit / Project Management
· Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning and progress databases
· Progress reporting (Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis)
· Earned Value Management systems
· Monitoring schedule performance and productivity
· Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors
· Preparation of tender schedules and histograms
· Resource / cash loading of schedules
· Providing data for payment applications
· Completing contract review reports
· Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports
· Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions
· Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes
  
Essential Criteria for the Role:
· Ability to carry out the roles and responsibilities as defined above
· Background in construction-related degree or trade
· 5+ years’ experience in Project Planning of large construction projects
· Previous experience on Data Centre Projects is desirable
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent IT and software skills (including Oracle P6 and Excel)
· Proven ability to work effectively in a team
· Proven ability to work within strict deadlines
· Knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety
