Senior Estimator - Highways Maintenance & Surfacing
My client is a UK leading specialist contractor, who work predominantly on highways maintenance and civil engineering schemes. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their dynamic estimating team in their Kent Office.
The successful Estimator will have previous experience of working of civil engineering projects as an Estimator, and will have the ability to estimate from 1st principles.

Projects:

• Highways maintenance
• Civils schemes including: drainage, public realm, structures, groundworks

Key Requirements:

• Estimator status (standalone level)
• Any form of civil engineering estimating experience (essential)
• Ability to estimate from 1st principles
• Comfortable when working individually
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literate
• Full UK driving license

Responsibilities:

• Logging tenders
• Understand & maintain tender documents
• Produce bills of quantities
• Conduct various tender meetings
• Attend site visits when needed
• Liaise with project stakeholders & prepare analytical estimates
