Position Overview:
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for preparing and reviewing geotechnical engineering reports for a variety of projects, including roads, subdivisions, medium to high-rise buildings, bridges, retaining walls, slope stability, and municipal infrastructures.

Position Overview:
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for preparing and reviewing geotechnical engineering reports for a variety of projects, including roads, subdivisions, medium to high-rise buildings, bridges, retaining walls, slope stability, and municipal infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects from start to finish.
- Conduct and oversee on-site investigations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
- Prepare technical proposals and comprehensive engineering reports.
- Participate in site visits and office meetings to provide technical expertise.
- Analyze soil samples, conduct soil and rock testing, and prepare borehole logs.
- Provide technical services within a laboratory environment.
- Utilize geotechnical design software, including Finite Element Analysis and slope stability analysis.
- Collaborate with municipalities and regulatory authorities such as MNR and TRCA.
- Perform a wide range of soil mechanics analyses and foundation engineering design.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including marketing, educational sessions, and promoting the company’s services.
- Ensure high-quality design packages, reporting, and analysis are delivered on time and within budget.
- P.Eng certification in Ontario.
- Advanced or specialized university courses in geotechnical engineering and foundation engineering (Master’s degree is an asset).
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proven experience in site investigations, foundation design (deep and shallow), slope stability, and on-site construction review.
