Recruitment Consultant – Pilling, foundation & Marines

My client is a main contractor looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer in their Abu Dhabi office:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the pre-qualification and evaluation of subcontractors based on company criteria.
Manage the preparation, issuance, and follow-up of RFQ packages for tender and project execution.
Conduct technical and commercial assessments of subcontractor offers and prepare detailed comparison reports.
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure subcontractor alignment with project requirements.
Lead negotiations with subcontractors to secure competitive terms and finalize agreements.
Maintain and update the subcontractor register and procurement records.
Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Provide input for risk assessments related to subcontractor engagement.
Facilitate the transition of subcontractor agreements to site teams for project execution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Procurement, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in procurement, with a specialization in subcontractor packages.
Exceptional technical assessment and analytical skills.
In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and subcontracting practices.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
