Job Overview They are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor with specific expertise in drylining to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing all cost-related aspects of drylining projects, ensuring financial efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities - Cost Management:
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets for drylining packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct accurate valuations and cost reporting to ensure project profitability.
- Tendering & Procurement:
- Prepare and review tender documents, assess subcontractor bids, and recommend the best value options.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements related to drylining works.
- Value Engineering:
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Provide expert advice on material and method selections for optimal cost efficiency.
- Contract Administration:
- Manage all contractual correspondence, variations, and claims related to drylining works.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of drylining packages.
- Maintain excellent client relationships by providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Requirements - A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
