Senior/Principal Structural Geologist to join their dynamic geology team based in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the largest North American geology groups, consisting of structural geologists, resource geologists, and geostatisticians, while contributing to high-profile projects worldwide.
About the Role: As a senior or principal consultant, you will be responsible for conducting
belt- to deposit-scale structural analysis and interpreting mineralized systems across various project stages, from early exploration through resource development and operational support. Your expertise will be applied through
field analysis, advanced 3D modeling, and geophysical interpretation, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions for a diverse range of clients.
A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to
develop your consulting practice while fostering and maintaining long-term client relationships within a collaborative and non-hierarchical consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed structural analysis and interpretation of mineralized systems, integrating geological, geophysical, and 3D modeling data.
- Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary projects, from exploration to operational support, across global locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality project delivery and ongoing collaboration.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering knowledge transfer and team growth.
- Apply advanced modeling and geophysical interpretation techniques to deliver innovative and practical solutions.
Required Qualifications: - Postgraduate degree specializing in structural geology of ore deposits (PhD preferred).
- Proven applied structural geology experience in exploration and/or operational environments.
- Strong theoretical background with demonstrated ability to apply practical solutions.
- Proficiency with GIS and 3D modeling software.
- Professional registration or eligibility to obtain it.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to generate, implement, and complete projects.
- Established industry network and strong communication skills to foster client relationships.
- Dynamic leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior consultants.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with modern implicit modeling tools and/or geophysical interpretation.
- Previous consulting experience, ideally within the mining and resource sector.
