Site Manager – Construction Projects
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager on behalf of our client, a leading construction company specialising in residential and commercial developments. The company is involved in a variety of exciting projects, including townhouse complexes, apartment buildings childcare centres, and multi-use complexes. The value of the current project under construction is approximately £40 million.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • OHS Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations on site.
  • Programming & Reporting: Prepare and maintain project schedules, providing regular updates on progress and any potential delays.
  • Trade Management: Supervise all on-site trades and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to specification.
  • Staging of Works: Plan and coordinate the staging of works across multiple trades to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • RFI’s and Shop Drawing Reviews: Manage requests for information (RFI’s) and review shop drawings to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Materials Ordering: Ensure materials are ordered on time and delivered to site in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Defect Inspections & Rectifications: Conduct thorough defect inspections and ensure all issues are rectified before project completion.
Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Site Management, specifically within apartment or townhouse construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale developments, including multi-unit residential projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of trades and subcontractors.
  • Excellent understanding of programming, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of OHS responsibilities and site safety protocols.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
