Job Description

Our client, a well-established Civil Engineering and Building Contractor are currently on the lookout for Site Supervisors in Perth and the surrounding region. The role will involve working on large scale residential developments and all associated civils works including groundworks, drainage, earthworks, paving and all external landscaping.
  
Duties and responsibilities include:

• Report to your Contracts Manager any issues and deficiencies with your section of the works design or operations.
• Ensure on-site risk assessments are carried out appropriately to determine the appropriate type and level of provision of signing, guarding, shoring, PPE etc.
• Make arrangements to ensure the outcome of the risk assessment is implemented prior to works commencing taking into consideration external factors e.g. road traffic, ground conditions, weather conditions etc.
• Ensure equipment is correctly used and maintained in good order.
• Always ensure that safety of pedestrians is paramount and that the needs of the disabled are considered.
• Ensure Safe Working in the Vicinity of buried Utilities.
• Ensure works are carried out in a safe and proper manner by implementing all controls as defined within the Site-Specific Risk Assessment and to the standards required by the specification.
• Carry out your work in a safe and proper manner.
• Ensure adherence with the company Skills and Competence Policy and Procedures.
• Keep records of your work as required by the company.
• Organise labour, plant and materials for your operations.
• Liaising with your Contract Manager on a regular basis.
• Material Ordering.
• Tool box talks

  
Requirements:

• CSCS Gold or Black Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Knowledge and understanding of NEC
• Minimum2-3 Years site supervisory experience in civils works
