Job Title: Structural Engineer (EIT or P.Eng.)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $80K - $110K (Depending on Experience)
 
Our client, a growing and innovative engineering consultancy specializing in structural and industrial projects, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Role:
This position is ideal for a Structural EIT with 3-5 years of experience or a P.Eng. with up to 2 years of experience who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and has a passion for contributing to complex engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design of industrial and commercial structures, including foundations, steel, concrete, and timber systems.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Site Engagement: Participate in site visits, inspections, and field reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and documentation to support project development and regulatory approvals.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply innovative thinking and a hands-on approach to overcome technical challenges and ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • EIT with 3-5 years of structural design experience, OR
    • P.Eng. with up to 2 years of post-licensure experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar platforms.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-starter who takes ownership of projects, thrives in a learning-focused environment, and enjoys being challenged.
  • Hands-On Mentality: Willingness to get involved in practical, field-related work and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
