Planned interior of Olympia London with new mezzanine floors
Joint owners Deutsche Finance and Yoo Capital aim to create a new cultural hub, complete with restaurants, offices, hotels, an auditorium and open plan spaces.
Plans drawn up by world-renowned design studio Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC architects will see the iconic 130-year-old listed arched glazed exhibition centre refurbished and modernised.
These proposals also include a 1,500-seat theatre and performing arts space.
There will also be 600,000 sq ft of new creative offices and studios as well as new restaurants, two hotels and cinemas joining the site.
