Downtown Los Angeles will see its largest developments since the recession hit in 2008. At present there are 100+ projects in play across the residential, mixed-use, Civic and non-profit, Cultural/Entertainment, Hospitality and Office Projects. With total investment currently above $15bn the employment opportunities for construction workers is currently at its most promising since the pre-recession era.

- Ten50: 25 Story Condominium Building, $100m
- Blossom Plaza, Jake : 5 Story Residential Complex, $100m
- Metropolis : 18 story Hotel, 38, 40 and 56 floor Condominium Building’s and large commercial/retail development, $1bn
- Skyspace L.A. : U.S. Bank Tower Upgrade, $100m
- The Bloc : Redevelopment of Macy’s Plaza, $180m
- The Federal Courthouse : New Construction, currently at interiors fit out stage, total value $323m
- Division 13 Bus Maintenance and Operation Facility : $120m
- The Convention Center Renovation : $350m
- Mack Urban South Park : Retail & Residential Commercial Development, $750m
