Aldi will create 350 permanent jobs and an additional 550 construction jobs under new ambitious plans for the Dublin area.
The retailer is currently assessing 25 different sites in Dublin as they plan to open 11 new stores on a phased basis. Aldi bosses have already agreed to launch a new store in Adamstown, while plans for the other locations remain ongoing.
The company currently employs 670 people across Dublin in its many branches in the capital. The addition of 11 new stores would bring the total Aldi store network in Dublin to 35 by 2027.
